It was at my grandma's house. I sat in front of the tiny TV in her front room and became mesmerized by the animated opening sequence (which has been a huge influence on my illustration style). Then, Samantha's magic started - with sound effects! - and I fell in love. The twitch became an obsession. Elizabeth Montgomery and Samantha Stephens are two more women who have had a huge impact on my life. I was never completely happy with the Samantha illustrations I completed a couple years ago, and the time was right to revisit how much Bewitched means to me.
