It was because of his blog post last year that I sought out the 1965 movie and discovered Sal Mineo. Read Doug's review of the film because he summed it up perfectly. This movie is creepy, insanely sexy, and daring. Besides Sal Mineo, it also stars Juliet Prowse and the great Elaine Stritch (currently playing Madame Armfeldt in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music on Broadway). Directing: The Glass Menagerie
Recently, I participated in a three-week directing workshop taught by Seth Gordon, former Associate Artistic Director of The Cleveland Play House and current Associate Artistic Director of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
